The metered range of Dimmer Dot variacs combines the proven toroidal variable auto transformer with built-in voltage and current metering in a compact portable bench top enclosure. Three configurations are available to suit different monitoring requirements.
The D-101-P-AR-PB features an analogue voltmeter (0-300V) with integrated plug base for convenient bench top use. The D-101-P-MV-MA adds an analogue ammeter (0-10A) alongside the voltmeter. The D-101-P-DMV-DMA upgrades to 3-digit LED digital displays for both voltage and current.
All metered models are single phase (230/240V input, 0-260/270V output) with approximately 9A continuous current rating. Ideal for laboratories, educational institutions, R&D workshops, and any application requiring visual voltage and current monitoring during adjustment.
