The Plating Electronic digital control unit range provides comprehensive rectifier management — from the compact pe280 wall-mount controller for standard plating operations to the pe8705 colour anodising sequencer and pe8005 advanced process controller for complex multi-step processes.

All units feature RS485 communication as standard, with optional PROFIBUS, Profinet, and TCP/IP modules for full SCADA and PLC integration. Analogue I/O (0-10V / 4-20mA) enables integration with legacy systems and external sensors.

1 Complete Rectifier Management

The digital control unit range provides everything needed for precision rectifier management — from basic manual control and monitoring through to fully automated multi-step process sequences. All units connect to PE series rectifiers via standard RJ45 cable and RS485 communication, with upgrade options to PROFIBUS, Profinet, and TCP/IP for full plant integration.

2 pe280 Wall/Panel Controller

The pe280 is the standard control unit for PE series rectifiers. Compact 240x170x85mm design with 3-line LCD display. Wall-mount or pe280-FP flush panel mount versions. Programmable ramp-up, amp-hour timers, and RS485 communication.

3 pe8705 Colour Anodising Controller

Purpose-built for anodising colour sequencing operations. Automatically controls multi-step colour sequences with precise current/voltage profiles and timing. Ensures consistent colour quality across batches.

4 pe8005 Advanced Process Controller

The most capable unit in the range — designed for complex multi-step electrochemical processes. Advanced programme sequencing, data logging, and full process automation capability for demanding industrial applications.

5 Amp-Hour Timers

Built-in amp-hour metering and timers enable precise dosing control — essential for consistent plating thickness and bath chemistry management. Set target amp-hours and the system automatically controls the process endpoint.

6 Full Network Connectivity

RS485 standard on all models, with optional PROFIBUS DP, Profinet IO/IRT, TCP/IP, EtherCAT, and CC-Link modules. Enables full SCADA, PLC, and MES integration for Industry 4.0 capability.

7 Programmable Ramp-Up

Soft-start and programmable ramp-up sequences protect both the rectifier and the workpiece. Essential for sensitive plating processes where sudden current application would cause defects.

8 pe PC Software

Comprehensive Windows-based software for remote monitoring, configuration, data logging, and trend analysis. View real-time operating parameters, download historical data, and configure unit settings from any networked PC.
