The manual air cooled range of Dimmer Dot variacs provides continuously adjustable AC voltage output via a precision carbon brush contact on a toroidal core. Available in two mounting configurations: open back (panel mount) for integration into control panels and enclosures, and portable (bench top) for standalone laboratory and workshop use.
Both single phase (230/240V input, 0-260/270V output) and three phase (400/415V input, 0-450/470V output) models are available, with continuous current ratings from 1A to 28A. All units are manufactured by Green Dot Electric Corp (Est. 1979, Sahibabad, India) and NATA tested in Australia for EMC compliance.
The air cooled design requires no oil filling or forced-air cooling, making these units ideal for laboratory, educational, light industrial, and process control applications where clean, simple voltage regulation is required.
